NCDXF Grant Supports Club Log renewal

Club Log supports nearly 130,000 callsigns and stores around 1.25 billion QSOs. Behind the scenes, this requires a huge IT resource to provide a worldwide fast, reliable service. It is achieved using high-end colocated servers in various data centres as well as cloud systems. Club Log equipment is generally updated and renewed once every 5 to 6 years. The last server upgrade was in 2019.

Club Log’s server equipment is being upgraded over summer and autumn 2025. This a significant refresh of our hardware, allowing us to keep pace with growth of data modes, livestreams and other popular features as Club Log’s user base expands.

This equipment upgrade has been made possible thanks to a generous grant by the Northern California DX Foundation, NCDXF, of the £6417 to pay for the new computer hardware involved.

On behalf of all Club Log users, I would like to express my gratitude to NCDXF for supporting expeditions, innovation and infrastructure projects that are so valuable across our DXing hobby. Their support of Club Log is hugely appreciated.

Thank you NCDXF – 73, Michael G7VJR
